Ishtar, also known as Innana in Sumeria, was a lunar Goddess who gives life at the waxing moon and then withdraws it at the waning moon. She was also addressed as: "Mother of the Fruitful Breast", "Queen of Heaven", "Light of the World", "Creator of People", "Mother of Deities", "River of Life", etc.
The original is housed at the Louvre Museum, Paris, France.
She is made from cast resin with a marble base.
